Overview of Role
This individual will participate in the follow-up on day-to-day client needs through documentation and communication with clients and vendors. The AM position provides the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience through managing a very diverse client portfolio. The AM must be very organized, able to multi-task and problem-solve to bring solutions to our clients.
Support the account management team in building relationships with key clients through a consultative approach to understand client benefit plan design needs. Translating the requirements to external vendor partners such as PBM, TPA, ancillary programs.
Manage the internal RFP/procurement and market-check process for assigned accounts which includes creating project timelines and coordinating PBM data requests.
Support PBM contract reviews and negotiation.
Support Client Engagement team with various projects, facilitate internal and external meetings and presentations to provide status updates, and make decisions relative to client benefit setup.
Ensure Salesforce is properly maintained and up to date for all clients.

- Formulary Management
- Drug Utilization Management
- RFP Process
- Rx Contracts
- Rx Benefit Plan Design
In this role, you will operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines so your ability to work together with the client, Account Management and Analytics team and external vendor partners will be imperative.
- 3 or more years of experience in account management, benefit plan design, or related field
- Employer group pharmacy benefit experience
- PBM industry experience
- RFP experience
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
