Overview of Opportunity

In this role, you will employ strong knowledge of the pharmacy benefits industry as well as broker management and self-funded employer group perspectives. You will own the day-to-day client success relationship and connect internal resources to support client expectations. We are an advocate for our clients ensuring satisfaction, profitability, and renewal. We are key to introducing new savings opportunities, projects, program roll-out, clinical programs, and managing renewals.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management, presentation, analytic, and problem-solving skills and can skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, and collaboration skills to build relationships, positively impact client financials and create raving fans.

Core Responsibilities

  • Developing and enhancing client relationships
  • Representing AlignRx culture in all interactions
  • Identifying opportunities to improve retention strategies
  • Internal and external problem solving
  • Identifying and closing existing client sales opportunities
  • Execute successful client implementations
  • Deliver world-class service to clients
  • Manage contract negotiations during renewal and procurement processes
  • Coordinate client deliverables to exceed client expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver for clients
  • Create and deliver client presentations to showcase achievements
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate a PBM RFP, present and review financial results
  • Oversee implementation of PBM vendor

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma/Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
  • 5+ years of client success experience in a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Health Plan, or broker industry
  • 5+ years of experience leading successful teams to attain client success
  • 2+ years of successful Implementation project management experience
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint & rest of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time


  • Advanced degree
  • 10+ years of client management experience in PBM, Health Plan Pharmacy, or Rebate Management
  • Analytical experience
  • Proven ability to provide consultative guidance to clients
