Liam Connors is a business development leader with deep-rooted experience in HR, benefits technology, and healthcare innovation. He currently serves as Director of Business Development at Goodroot, where he supports the growth of Emry and Empara—two platforms designed to simplify healthcare navigation and lower costs for members and employers alike. 

Before joining Goodroot, Liam helped scale a startup in the HR and benefits technology space, playing a key role in its eventual acquisition. His work spanned business development, channel partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise deals, all centered on helping HR leaders improve the employee experience while optimizing benefit offerings. He is a member of Austin SHRM and holds a degree in Business Administration. 

At Goodroot, Liam partners with TPAs, PEOs, brokers, and employer groups to deliver forward-thinking solutions that make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Drawing on his background in employee benefits and human capital management, he brings a unique understanding of the challenges employers face—and a strong commitment to solving them through technology, concierge support and cost-saving strategies.
